Faux Summer Braids Hairstyle
Step by Step
Part your hair down the center of your head and create two log pigtails at the nape of your neck. Courtnee pulled a few face-framing strands out to loosen the style.
Take a hair tie that is the same color as your hair and wrap it round one pigtail about three inches down from the top hair tie to start your faux summer braid hairstyle.
Separate the smaller section of hair between the two hair ties and split them in half. Grab the bottom of the pigtail and loop it through the two halves created in the smaller section, then pull the hair through
Continue this technique so each pigtail has two faux-braided sections, leaving the ends of the hair curled and loose.
Add a texture spray to the ends of the hair for added grit and hold. This style is perfect for balmy summer evenings or beach days – don’t forget your hat!
